The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

I love that whole tour. There's a reason I'm slowly collecting all of the official bootlegs. I'm up to about 36 - one day I shall own them all!
About 10 years ago, my local Best Buy had piles of them on clearance for several weeks. By the end of that, I had almost the whole tour, and I didn't have to pay full price. I would imagine it is a much bigger pain in the ass these days.

If you look around you can find them on Amazon or Half.com for close to the original price. Some shows are almost impossible to find at a cheap price though. I'm still looking for a copy of Saratoga that doesn't cost $50+.

everything about the playing on that tour is just...fierce. even when eddie's drunk, it's tight, and that almost never happens.
i should amend that to say musically, it's fierce and tight without exception. lyrically...there were some issues with recall hehe.

Wow, word gets around! I actually bought a backup Pittsburgh in one of my Best Buy raids and I ended up needing it when I sat on my first copy.

"now don't anyone else try this, because we're never gonna do it again, but we're gonna play the song..."

speaking of portland shows, the portland 2000 improv is the tits. poor eddie, coming home after roskilde to an empty house for the first time in forever...
although maybe he was banging jill already by that point. i dunno.
to return to topic, the 2000 tour was also the last great tour for improvs.

To this day I regret missing the 2000 tour. I was supposed to go to St. Louis and my ride bailed on me. Fellow forum user here twoheadedboy and I planned on hitting a show or two and we couldn't make it happen due to competing work schedules, school and money. C'est la vie!
Anyway, this Calgary show looks great. I hope everyone who was there had a great time and makes it home safely - this weather ain't no joke!
