Fuck. Yes. Scorching show. Spin the black > Rats was so good. Out of 25 shows, definitely one of the best. High intensity on everything. Happy Birthday to Matt was also played. All the old songs were fucking nailed. Black especially. Amazing night.

See, I liked this show less than the much shorter, more remote show out in Ridgefield in 2009. I loved "Deep", "You Are", "All Those Yesterdays" and some others but the encores were really, really predictable (even more than normal). Ed was really, really drunk by the end of the first set and botched a lot of lyrics. Hell, he couldn't even remember how to play "Lukin" at first. There were a lot of things I really liked about the show - a great many things - but that first encore didn't do it for me at all other than "All Those Yesterdays". Everybody else around me loved it though.
Also, I am once again Binaural kryptonite. 8 shows and I've been shut out at least 4 times now. Would it really hurt them to remember that this album exists?

I was there, and had a great time. GA, about 15 feet from Eddie throughout. Having seen them 12 times, this was easily the best mood I've seen Eddie, Stone and Jeff in (Mike is always awesome). Stone seemed to smile throughout the show. I loved that they did stuff like come down into the audience, or throwing those giant lights from the ceiling around, so they swung about dangerously. Or that Eddie constantly stopped everything to talk to people in the crowd. It just had a light-hearted atmosphere to it.
And I absolutely loved GA! For those of us who just want to jump around the whole show, it was so nice to be free of a seat! People were reasonably cool too.
Apart from some snags, they played great. Good setlist, if nothing too unusual. But boy, you came away feeling great!

The run of STBC through RVM to end the main set was so face-melting. Never enjoyed some of the old "standard" songs so much. They are fucking on fire right now. Gonna try to make it up to Seattle now thanks to this show.

The whole main set looks pretty good, though the second encore looks to be a bit of a downer.
