how much of in hiding was played before they stopped and started into tremor christ?
Just a few of the opening riffs. Enough to know it was In Hiding, it was just Stone playing
did it sound like he flubbed it? or did it seem like he had forgotten that they added Tremor Christ to the setlist right before it?
He started and Ed ran over and said he wanted to slide it in before it. On the setlist it looks like a late add or potential add. No flub on Stones part.

Wow, that's one hell of a setlist! So far the 2nd leg has not shown me much to get excited about but this is pretty sweet. It's up there with Charlottesville for best setlist of the tour so far.

What a fucking show...
For me, it was my 9th show... funny enough they played 9 songs I had never heard live (not counting LB tracks), and 3 that were on my "bucket list" so to speak... So I may be plenty biased in my opinion for those reasons, but this one EASILY rivaled the 06 show, and is slowly starting to show that I think San Diego tickets should be just as coveted as Boston, New York, and Seattle tickets, they're really treating it like a "hometown" show.
I think the other thing that adds to that is the arena is kind of unique for a sports arena where it's very narrow and steep, so it feels way more intimate than your standard arena, something the band commented on as well last night. I think the size of the arena is what also made the first encore work so well. Everyone was really into it, and it wasn't the buzzkill that it might look like on paper.
The crowd was into it from start to finish... That goes on the floor as well. Whenever I'm on the floor at a show I worry about having 500 cell phones in my face all night, the person that thinks I came to hear them sing as opposed to the band on stage, or just overly aggressive stuff.... Nothing like that at all, at least where we were standing... Very cool group of people. We also got pretty good position on the floor for not making it down until 7:30 due to work and traffic.
Tremor Christ was a HUGE surprise... There was a picture on twitter or somewhere of Stone's setlist, and apparently it didn't make it onto his, hahah, hence the little flub... certainly wasn't on him though, and everyone seemed to get a good laugh out of it.
The band was on fire... They referenced through the evening that pretty much everyone had friends and or family in attendance, Eddie's mom and brothers, Mike's dad, Matt's whole family it seemed, Jeff and Stone had friends as well, and it showed. I've personally never seen McCready as insane as he was last night. During porch he just seemed possessed almost. Dude even tripped/fell, did a somersault, and stood back up without missing a note it seemed.
The fan from the Philippines was pretty cool as well, and especially when the band announced that relief efforts for the region were their charity of choice for the evening.
I'm also under the impression that they must have paid quite a fee to the arena. I know that Viejas typically has a 11:00 pm curfew, and the house lights went on in between Black and Do the Evolution...I THINK... and I'm under the impression that it wasn't Keely that turned them on, because they were up the rest of the night, and it seemed some of the automated lights were still running which seems kind of pointless...
Anyway, very rambly I know... But a hell of a show, certainly worth picking up the boot when it eventually gets released...

Sounds like a killer show, and I would agree SD is right up with those cities and Philly for Pearl jam love.
i may have to check out a SD show sometime, we had tickets to 2 of the 4 LA shows in 09 (i think) but had stuff come up and didnt make it, but ive never been to California and i think SD would be a good place to visit

It's a great town. Also a consistently great place for Pearl Jam shows.
