Bizarre show. Had some of the lowest points I've ever experienced at a Pearl Jam show -- that aforementioned run through Future Days was a bit painstaking. But the crowd was *exceptional*, and there were enough unexpected moments and legitimate high points to make this one memorable if not essential.
The 2nd "Ain't Talkin Bout Love" came out of nowhere -- I get a kick out of the band tying past history into the proceedings like that -- and my first impression was that it was better than the one in 2010. There were several 1-2 combos I liked a lot: "Last Exit" > "Immortality" / "Go" > "Alive" / "Long Road" > "Sometimes" / "Alone" > "Unknown Thought" -- Also was awesome to see "Fuckin' Up," which they closed with at the surreal '08 Hartford show.
But ultimately the night was too uneven (I kept on thinking to myself, "This is a weird, fucked up show.") to rise above the din.
Star of the night: Mike McCready -- it was just one blistering solo after the next -- I don't remember seeing a show where his playing was so prominent.

Oof.
I don't often take issue with the band's setlists but that's a brutally boring run of songs (save Porch).
The continued appearance of those Van Halen covers in the band's sets is truly perplexing.
The setlist tonight left much to be desired but the band was fucking incredible. Firing on all cylinders, probably the tightest I've seen them play in recent years.

Awesome!
I feel like I should add that the main set and final encore look great.

Probably the most I've enjoyed Given To Fly in quite a few years.
They played it late during both Philly sets and it really worked well in re-energizing the crowd. The floor for each gig was bouncing all the way back to the board.

The show started really, really strong setlist wise, and then for every unthought known or let the record play there was an alone or immortality.

I agree with what others said: a weird show in some respects, but definitely fun. I thought the crowd, in general, was absolutely electric the whole night, and the band tried to match them (Ed even mentioned this early on) but they fell short at times. Excellent versions of Alone and Chloe/Crown, both of which I'd heard before as inferior performances. Was up on the side on Mike's half...dude is such a ham that it's endearing. My section got ho hum after the main set, but didn't stop us from enjoying it. Much respect to the bros walking around outside with their shirts off after the show; it was a chilly night!

This might be my favorite arena to see in a concert in new england. This is my second Pearl Jam show here and both times they've had excellent, energetic crowds and the band responded in kind. But I think some of that has to do with the room. It's on the bigger side as far as B level arenas go, but the sound contains really well. Plenty of time's I've seen them at the Garden in Boston and the sound just kind of gets lost. Here it really fills the room and surrounds you.

My seats were dead center, front row behind the GA area. I was disappointed that I wasn't on the side at first, but when I got down to my seats I realized my view was really fucking good down there. Loved it.

Right before Fuckin' Up Ed was talking about bridge school and how the next song was for Neil and Peg. I was sure we were getting RITFW really does nothing for me at this point. Was very happy to get Fuckin' Up instead. I love that one.
