So...Seeing that setlist halfway through the first set... Is this year the first time we've seen them having the encores completely planned out from the start of the show? Or has it been going on for a few years now? I'm just remembering that they used to just have those first 17-19 written out, and they'd either have nothing below it or a huge list that they'd then pick and choose from, with no order or encore breaks written in.

I think it's been a few years now, I'm pretty sure.
I recall that kind of thing with the 2000 tour setlists (as reproduced in the bootleg artwork) but they've had the encores written out at least since 2005-2006 (that isn't to say they don't still change things around, though).

I seem to remember at Bonnaroo in '08 during the first encore break they showed the encore set list on the lawn screen and though I didn't want to look at it I took a quick peek and it was a separate sheet of paper, not including the main set. I suppose that could have been the exception by then.

Great crowd and Stone kicked some butt tonight. I'm starting to think he might actually like being in Pearl Jam right now and maybe that is the difference this tour. Alas, Ed's voice was not in quite as good a shape as it was in Brooklyn, so we need to find whomever requested Blood and beat them.

What makes everyone think Stone didnt enjoyed they previous tours?? I saw him rocking out like crazy during ACL 09. The same thing apply for every concert i saw of the band after that.

He's always seemed to be just sorta up there. I'm sure it's hard to stand out when you've got Mike on one side and Eddie in the middle, but in my unprofessional internet opinion, Stone seems more into the music now than I have seen in the past. Not just rocking out, but smiling and jamming and walking/dancing around the stage. It's a good thing.

I look into his sorry-doe eyes and I just, I see a man crying out. He's crying out "when, Lord? When the fuck can your servant ditch this foul-mouthed little chucklehead to whom I am a constant victim of his folly, so much so that it prevents him from ever getting to kiss a girl! Fuck! When, Lord, when? When's gonna be my time?"

Agreed about Stone really being into it. But Hejaz seemed to be the last few years.
And the sings in brackets are Maybes. Speeno is correct.
Agree about the point with Stone. People seem to give him a bad rap since he's pretty stoic in the official release from the early parts of the 2000's (Touring Band, Showbox, Live At The Garden). He's been really animated at the shows at least the last five years, and maybe even since the 2005 Canadian tour.
Nice set again though tonight. I'm curious for the shows on leg when there are openers if that will impact these 30+ song sets we have been seeing. I know when there's an opener PJ usually goes on between 8:45 and 9.

Great set last night. Crowd was amped from the start. Nice hearing Pilate, dedicated to Brendan O'Brien who was in attendance. Some family with a huge Gabba Gabba Hey banner was brought down from behind the stage at Eddie's request. So happy I finally got to hear Miracles. Love that cover. The final encore was perfect. Lights up from Alive to the end. Sonic Reducer was a monster and nice to hear Indifference on it's own. Killer gig!

Wow, these setlists have just been ridiculous! This one might even top Brooklyn 2. So jealous that my buddy who I went to Brooklyn with is going again tonight in Philly. How the hell am I supposed to decide which bootlegs to buy?

Another great looking show. They really are working deep in their catalogue this tour. Wish I would have pulled the trigger to drive down for tonight's show.
