Definitely one of the better shows I’ve been to. Very cool to get HTI, BoJ and Undone. The set was damn near perfect until Unthought Known, which was apparently a game time decision tune as it was a blank spot on the printed set list.

Did pregame with Mr and Mrs dad again. Such lovely people. Hopefully we’ll get more opportunities.

I know night one wasn’t ideal for everyone with Matt being out, but these last two shows were two of the best PJ experiences I’ve had.

Killer set list! Also this from the pit:

“(Fans at the back of the venue hung individual letters spelling “Spin The Black Circle” but the “S” had fallen off. So the band played a few seconds of “Pin The Black Circle”)”

 did Ed actually sing “pin pin…”?

Agree with wease…one of the better shows I’ve seen. I wouldn’t have been mad if Just Breathe and Unthought Known were left off or replaced with something else.

Love that they broke out Breakerfall. Undone was a nice surprise. I knew we’d get Brain of J. My wife loves that one, and she was thrilled when she heard the intro. Red Mosquito was fantastic.

RitFW seemed to go on forever - my goodness. My wife said, they could’ve filled that time with some of their bangers. She’s right.

Will have to wait for the bootleg, but everything sounded tight, even the mix was better. So grateful they played both nights, and we got some unique sets. I think the last two crowds will be in for a treat.

Speaking of…

Feeling a little fomo about Austin. I don’t think I could make it work. Too much logistics.

He did. Wish they would’ve played it.

I love Breakerfall. That always looks good on a setlist.

Great energy from the band and the crowd last night.

Random fact, when Gary Patterson was head coach of TCU, I Won't Back Down was the 4th quarter song. So it has significance to a good number of folks in FW.

The best Matt songs, when played live, still rival the best Dave/Jack live compositions from their respective eras.

Incredible first set. Looks like it took a nose dive in the encore! At least on paper.....

I wonder if it was the same person who requested undone in St. Paul. God, I hope not.

Ed said the guy that requested it did so 3 or 4 shows ago, so probably was

Except for UK, it was a blast.

At one point, Ed asked Matt if he was really sick or just faking to get a day off. Then he asked if he was in Cabo with Ted Cruz. The boos were deafening. I couldn’t quite figure out if they were booing Cruz or booing Ed. Ed seemed to think they were booing him tho. It did remind me of the Bu$hleaguer incident.

Well, I’m glad you got to see it. Awesome song. Turns out the haves do have a clue tho. Just request a song and then go to every show to see your personal jukebox play it after they’ve rehearsed it for you.

I’m confused. I thought unthought known was one of the few songs RM liked from backspacer?
