- people going into bat against Dave or trying to minimise his role are the oddballs, the band will not be issuing medals to faithful soldiers for the cause;
- the band are either jerks or weirdos or a mix of both for not extending the olive branch to the guy at some point in the last 25+ years.

lol pointing out this weird obsession with dave a isn't anyone trying to be a 'loyal soldier'. one of your points about dave a being an important member is b/c he's in pictures the most. matt cameron saved a tour and maybe the bands career. jack was behind the kit when the band started exploring new musical territory. if you like his style the most, that's fine, but you are overstating his role in pearl jam.

Financially speaking, I wonder if the numbers are fairly close from the major label Dave revenues (CDs and more recent sync licensing) vs independent act ticket sales

Not sure that would be a fair comparison given the change in the industry between those time periods.

Unless I'm misunderstanding your remark

I didn’t realize it until they played it last night, but they didn’t do Better Man at this show.

PJ's twitter often posts screenshots of the written set list after every show, they skipped this one though.

I like the way Josh plays Hail Hail. He's really channeling his inner Jack here.

I’m just thankful Eddie has started wearing the hats. Something needed to happen to control that hair of his these days.
