My brothers in Christ, if I can say it any clearer: - Dave Abbruzzese was a massive part of the band while he was a member; - it makes sense why people still see him as being important to Pearl Jam in a broader (non-linear) sense; - people going into bat against Dave or trying to minimise his role are the oddballs, the band will not be issuing medals to faithful soldiers for the cause; - the band are either jerks or weirdos or a mix of both for not extending the olive branch to the guy at some point in the last 25+ years.
lol pointing out this weird obsession with dave a isn't anyone trying to be a 'loyal soldier'. one of your points about dave a being an important member is b/c he's in pictures the most. matt cameron saved a tour and maybe the bands career. jack was behind the kit when the band started exploring new musical territory. if you like his style the most, that's fine, but you are overstating his role in pearl jam.
Financially speaking, I wonder if the numbers are fairly close from the major label Dave revenues (CDs and more recent sync licensing) vs independent act ticket sales

Not sure that would be a fair comparison given the change in the industry between those time periods.
PJ's twitter often posts screenshots of the written set list after every show, they skipped this one though.
