I can't speak for Spenno but what I meant by "very strange" is that hearing Eddie Vedder singing a song by The Cure (one of my favorite bands) feels legitimately odd and even a little disorienting; those artists occupy different corners of my brain and rarely if ever intersect

So, he and his wife went to the garage and played music from their car to have a dance party?
I mean ... was the car running? Did it sound good, at all? Does Eddie not have a radio, stereo, CD player, Ipad, or record player in his house? Didn't Ed play River Cross in a room in his house that already have cool "disco" lighting?
I think Ed and his wife got caught fucking in the backseat of their car, and this is Ed's attempt to share the story in a PG environment.

if this was pearl jam i would be more surprise, but his solo album has 80s influences all over it and he seems to be having fun doing different covers

It was a great show. I was actually right next to Jill Vedder, but left her alone because I am not a psycho.
The line about dance parties felt truthful. It started out as she would pull until the garage and leave a song on and blasted it and they kinda danced a bit and then they like outfitted the garage with lights and smoke machines. It was covid and it made sense.

Nice!
How was she
I did not talk to her, but she was hugging and chatting nicely with fans/friends of the band in the VIP cocktail section that I was next to.
