was it just glen on 'dont do it'? i love that song
He’s a massive fan of the band and the last waltz.
Definitely his idea to play that one.
I'm sure I've also heard Ed reference the Last Waltz as being pretty huge for him. I know he did Makes No Difference with MMJ when those bands toured.
Apparently they were up late drinking listening to that album and decided they had to play it? Reason enough.
It’s a great song.
Love this. That's precisely how I heard/saw the Last Waltz for the first time. My friend/roommate put it on at about 4am and, as it has for so many others, it immediately changed my life.

What’s the story of the picture he deleted from the person’s phone?
From Pit:
The picture deleting thing happened during Brother The Cloud. A girl was filming or taking pictures in front row and Ed gave her the directly in the camera. 2 songs later he got her phone and asked for her passcode and said he was deleting it.

Not to be a debbie downer, but I was at last night's show in San Diego and it was...bad. Now to be fair, I haven't been into Pearl Jam in years and the last Pearl Jam show I saw was ~8 years ago. But, I took my wife who loves music (and she went to that PJ show w/ me and had a good enough time), and we left early. Eddie just sounded terrible. Timeless Melody used to be one of my favorite cover songs. It was unrecognizable. Yes, the band was having lots of fun and it was great to see, but the new album is lame and the lead singer sounded bad. Hard to make up for that.
