My 81 year old father is likely joining me at Ohana. Wow.
Are you taking him on the off chance and will spot such a mature fan and invite the two of you onstage?
Update: PJ not playing Ohana this year. Got that text while typing the post below. I'll go ahead and finish ...
Short answer: No
Long answer: Our whole family was supposed to take a family trip last summer for his 80th birthday but covid spun that whole thing out. In trying to match up schedules for another trip this summer, just didn't work out. My youngest sister has since moved to Idaho where she and her fellow Q'Anoners can live in harmony, for one thing, and she won't fly if masks are required so ... self-imposed travel ban. Cool. It then morphed into an idea where my dad and I would take this trip in September to hit up 4 MLB stadiums and the Bama @ Texas game. But this would have me missing the kids' first day of school and more importantly that is too much for my dad. He gets tired walking down the hallway of his building. So we rescheduled for the Husky game in LA, and a quick flight to Oakland for the A's game two days later. We were gonna squeeze in Ohana while in the vicinity but that is now a moot point.
For the cost of staying and traveling in orange county plus festival ....not really?
That being said: Maybe going to the festival and not caring/worrying about getting a good spot for a number of bands would be nice. I could just enjoyt he festival groudns, food, drink, and music/beach in the background. It is a really lovely festival.

Holy cow that is a wacky lineup.
Pink an absolutely insane culture fit for this event, Jack White who is obviously very good, but easily seen all over the country this summer, 73 year old Stevie Nicks, Ed with no PJ or the Earthlings.

Ed’s the only one I would really want to see. I would go back to Ohana but not cross country and all the expense for one Ed solo set, which I would no doubt enjoy that part.

I like Encore weekend’s lineup better, particularly Night 1 I would consider going back but that’s the only weekend I have definite plans for in the fall.
