The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
"Don't forget to tune in and watch the full show starting tonight at 8pm ET. Stream on Pearl Jam's YouTube and Facebook and on @nugsnet until Monday, April 5th at 11:59pm ET"
Super high energy, some very cool versions...Of The Earth, Given To Fly, Black....the crowd is insanely big and they are super into it...i mean this was a huge crowd.
That was great. Even the backspacer songs mostly sounded good. Amongst the waves sounded heavier than the studio version. Mike is on fire and I really liked the drum sound. You can tell they really wanted to put it on.
Agree about the crowd. Early on I think you can see the worry on Mikes face.
When did they start playing GA again? Was it for BS? I remember most shows for RA and Avocado were seated.
I thought they started playing festival shows in Europe again in 06/07/08 but my memory could be off on that.
This show ripped though - they were on. I was surprised because bootleg junkies mostly complain this tour was sloppy but I didn’t see that here. The only show in this series I was more surprised by was that epic Rome show. Keep em coming Pearl Jam!
they played GA again in 2005 in South America. I think they were confident enough then in 2006 to start doing it in every tour, but it took a while.
Yeah, this show is amazing...the energy is off the roof, and the crowd is just super into it. I loved The Fixer, i rarely listen to it these days..and yes, Amongst The Waves was good, mainly because the guitars are way more present than in the studio version.
Black is so good here, the ending is just...everyone is locked in.
likes rhythmic things that butt up against each other

This was great
The new mix is a big improvement on the bootlegs. Much fuller sound, drums and guitars sound particularly strong.
I went to Belfast and Berlin that year and both shows were a blast, but Ed was a tad scratchy in Belfast which hurt some of the harder songs for me. Berlin was emotional as it was the Roskilde anniversary. However, every other year I saw them was much more fun so I just put 2010 to the back of my mind. This show has made me appreciate the Backspacer tour much more. Strong stuff from the band, and the crowd really brought it too.

Ahh cool. It definitely sounds great. I haven't listened to many 2009/10 boots to compare. 06/07 for festivals makes sense. The Australia Arena shows in 06 were mostly seated... I think.
