Why do they keep playing Eruption? Stopping in the middle of your gig so the guitarist can whip out a ham-fisted cover of a Van Halen instrumental is something you'd expect from a suburban high school band circa 1985, but this is Pearl Jam (a very successful band with a deep catalogue) in front of many thousands of people. Can anyone make it make sense? |

Can anyone make it make sense? i fucking HATE eruption. imagine dropping a song to do that shize instead. the only reason i can think of is to give ed a break on the vox. but if he wants to do that - give us a stone song, yaknow? |

At the very least they could pick a song that involved Ed. He’s already got the split jump down |

I'm guessing it's because he was gassed from SOLAT and needed a breather. But yeah, I'd rather an improv or something. |

Can anyone make it make sense? Not when it’s a prelude to Black. No, no one can make it make sense. |

Drop all 3 covers, put whipping, dissident, and 7 o’clock back, and this is a really great set. |

Yeah good setlist. My criticism was for the 7/8 show that was posted here by mistake |

Night 2 > Night 1, for sure. Only two repeats and two songs from this century! They seemed to get into their stride much more quickly tonight. I always forget how much I enjoy SOLAT live, it always delivers. Garden was a surprise too and the crowd was really into it. Really enjoyable few days. Marr and the Stereophonics were also excellent. |

I can't really argue with that objectively, but I would say night 1 is better if you went in 2010. |

Is that now the 3rd time in almost consecutive shows 7 O'Clock is scrapped? It's the one new song I really really want to see live. Better play it in Amsterdam you bastards! |
