God...Lukin...I have no idea why they play it so much. It's not a good song to begin with and now Eddie clearly doesn't know any of the words anymore.

Corduroy...same old. I hate that the YEAH YEAH YEAH became permanent. That's one of the best moments in the band's entire catalog, top 5 probably? And they just kill it...why....of all the notes that Eddie tries for even though he can't hit it I wish this was one of them.

So far...this is fine, but it doesn't sound any different from their shows a few years ago besides being shorter.

I like the stream of consciousness tags even though those are also pretty cheesy. Today its all about wanting to live in Amsterdam, feel safe walking the streets at night, and live in a country without any guuuuuuuns. But you gotta love eddie for putting himself out there always. The wishlist tags are very brave lol

I agree Throw Your Hatred Down sounds really good.

Wishlist has been way too fast for years.

Eddie sounds so out of breath even just talking before Quick Escape. I wonder if Covid effects are the reason for the short shows.

Quick Escape is a song that I thought was so cool when it came out because they haven't had that groove since the early 90s and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I still enjoy it on the album but I do think it's a bit over-rated because while it channels that early Pearl Jam sound it isn't better than those songs. So Im not sure it's one I'd like to hear live as often as they play it. That being sad I'm happy they haven't sped it up massively live. It still sounds good. The end sounded great! I have to say though it's not my favorite it's been a highlight so far. I wasn't sure at first but it really was very good

Oh I love that they've been doing Sleeping By Myself. That's unexpected. It's honestly one of my favorites off Lightning Bolt.

Then Given to Fly -> Daughter is pretty fun...now into Jeremy. So I guess the main set is wrapping up.

Kinda disappointed they only played the singles from Gigaton and nothing else. The back half of the main set was a good amount of hits and must be a crowd pleaser. But I don't know. It's all fine, Eddie sounds kind of out of breath, otherwise not bad. But I just wonder what it would be like if the original tour hadn't been canceled (In a hypothetical covid-less world). Gigaton was so good I thought they'd be re-energized but the live shows have not reflected that from what I can tell. Though maybe this being a festival show was an exception? I still REALLY need to hear the Krusen show

You should check out Oakland Night Two if you can. Some really great energy and performances for a post 2006 show.
