I don’t think they’re done forever…But I think we’re looking at 5-10 years until Ed comes to terms with his growing limitations and we get an album of music that reflects that.

Lol. No. Never. But this isn’t just about a forest fire. One astute RMer suggested there may be some lingering Covid issues too. Whatever the case, I do believe he’s reckoning with something that will take quite a bit more effort to curb than a few days of downtime.

I was, of course, joking. To your point, he made a comment during one of the U.S. shows that he had COVID pretty bad--I know from some cases I've seen at work that there are people who got infected in 2020 who still have long-COVID, so Ed might be in tbat cohort.
