I've only been a couple of times, but it has got the feel of a western mountain town in the U.S. but with more of the "global culture" feel of most bigger Canadian cities. Love it.

Calgary's alright. Mountains, sunshine, chinooks and the summer are what makes it livable. Other than the warm chinooks, the winter's shit. At least there's good skiing close by.
