Great songs, a DIY approach to their creativity, casual involvement of their homes and family members...This is everything I want from a band of aged rockers.
I’d be just fine if they continued on this course for the rest of their career, working with Josh, dabbling in some sonic experimentation, involving their friends and family members in a way that makes the fan’s involvement feel somewhat communal.

yea, i enjoyed seeing such enjoyment from their inner circle of friends and family. Goes along nicely with a really poignant and purposeful/important album.
This was super cool. So happy to see them having fun and putting some creative effort into the presentation
While it seemed odd to have Josh K in the video, i love the idea of him joining the band on tour as a hired gun. Very creative, talented dude. Has done lots of work with Jon Brion, Beck, PJ Harvey, Jenny Lewis and more.
Gush about it now, but tomorrow you're gonna wake up and realize the sheer idiocy of the Electric PJ Acid Test
You’re right!
Oh wait, nope. There’s more important shit to worry about. It was fun and sounded great, and they weren’t the only ones that did that last night. Would have preferred them all together but they’re pushing 60 and don’t want to take chances. I’m guessing Jeff hasn’t even left his Montana bunker.
I never once stated that they should have been in one room.
A live performance where each member was transmitting from different locations would never have worked because of the technological limitations. You couldn't avoid weird delays and latency issues, it would be a complete mess.
This was a pre-recorded "live" song stitched together with the guys having fun miming to it.
For what it was, I thought it was fun, though I can't imagine I'll watch it again.

To put it simpler for you... I just don't want Ed to pretend to be singing, ok. The other stuff is just goofy, uninspired 'creativity' but I don't have as much of a problem with that stuff.

I enjoyed it. As for the lip-syncing, who fucking cares? He lip-synced in the Jeremy video, too. This was never meant to be like the self pollution stuff, so quit being pissed because it wasn’t.
That said, I doubt I’ll watch it again. It made me REALLY ready to see a show, tho.

I guess I was under the impression we were getting a live Gigaton song.
Fuck me for having that expectation, and getting whatever that was instead.
