I don’t pick apart the details like some of you do (which fill Matt hasn’t used since 2006, which key Ed sings in, whether or not it’s a “festival set”). God bless you, nerds!
Now watch as bammer picks apart details of the show…

Matt’s bass was absolutely thundering. If I’m honest Stone looked a little uninterested. Ed made a comment about the homeless “relocation” at Venice Beach, but managed not to get political about it. (This explains the lack of tents - we had lunch at Teddy’s Red Tacos on Venice Beach earlier in the day).
I got to the venue about 6:30. I texted Strat to connect for a beer but he was already entrenched in his spot.
We winded our way up to about 25 back. I had to piss during Corduroy and got separated from my buddy for like half the set. I could have gotten back in there but didn’t feel like being an asshole so he came back to me about 40 deep I’d say.
Seven O’clock was the highlight for me. The best new PJ song in a really long time. Immortality is such a fantastic live song. Weird that they were so turbo about curfew. They were gearing up for one last song and then just … goodnight.
This was my 31st Pearl Jam show. In all my years I have never seen one of the guys require a fill-in. Until last night, where I don’t know exactly what happened but I am convinced Mike had to shit in the middle of the Alive solo and his guitar tech jumped in for an emergency solo and if you had your eyes closed you wouldn’t have known the difference. Mike gets back to finish the song and I think he kicked the showmanship up a notch to make sure everyone still knew what’s what.
That sounds More like Bammer "enjoyed" it.
Picking apart the details are those ramrods that say"beeewt. I hope pearl jam don't play 2 or more covers. beeewt."

Been watching the youtubes from this show. Really enjoying them. Ed's solo band is a lot of fun too. Great to see Ed dust off the I Am One cover. His performance of this with The Who at Albert Hall many years ago, is one of my all-time favorite moments.
