I had to explain to some friends this tour why it wasn't a huge deal to see 3 shows.

Live, I thought this song was phenomenal ... no wonder the studio version didn't live up to what I heard live. ....it wasn't fuck ing it!
.....but what song was it?
do you remember which part of the show it was? first set or one of the encores? if i was to guess from the setlists it could maybe be MFC just because of the speed of the song, but im not really sure
I'd wager just about anything it was Unthought Known. It has "Swallowed Whole" as a prominent lyric.
The others played both nights are either from the new album or are long time hits.

The songs played both night were:
Lightning Bolt
Mind Your Manners
Sirens
Infallible
Yellow Moon
Unthought Known
Even Flow
Porch
Given To Fly
I would be surprised if someone who posts here wouldn't recognize UK

I get this too, but I hardly ever discuss Pearl Jam or the shows I see with friends. I'll spend far more time talking about the cities or the food there than the show, because frankly they don't care. I have the same reaction to their stories about college football games. "Oh that same bar is still there just like when you were in school 12 years ago? Yeah? Just like last year? That's just great."
