they really should have just let Josh sing
kind of pathetic they didn't
to that freak's twitter post's point - there are people who spent a lot to travel and then getting dinked at the last moment
that's bullshit
Ed sings with a teleprompter - Josh knows all the songs and can read from the same computer screens - just put him in there and have Ed dance on the side with a tambourine like the circus clown we all know he is
and for the record, I (and igotworms) did think ahead of time that they had booked too many shows for their old bones this tour - and now we are seeing it:
they skipped the festivals after roskilde when still relatively young and wanted to play their somber moody albums in safe locations where they could hug themselves and feel like safe former rape victims now that they are old af they want to balls out at festivals with the young folk and rock out hard every night
they should be playing Bridge School, sponsored by Dentucreme
Yeah I was sad to hear of the cancellation but through covid or the schedule it was inevitable that some shows would be pulled on this leg. I'm just relieved that I lucked out with the HP shows.

I’d rather have my money back than these proposed setlists.
Bummer for the Austrians who waited 2 years for the makeup show.
I do feel bad for people who traveled as well, but if you’re an American and the highlight of your Trip to Europe is a Pearl Jam show, you’re fucking lame. I saw them in Barcelona last time I was in Europe. Fine show, but not in my top ten moments from that trip.
What were your top ten moments?
Touring the Anne Frank attic, biking with my family around Amsterdam, ascending the Eiffel Tower, watching France win the semifinal of the WC while in Paris and the palpable buzz in the city, watching the final in a town square in Reykjavik, meeting an old college friend at Sacre Cour, the black sand beach, Geilfoss, a lunch in Vik, a sandwich in Brussels, and a million little things like watching my youngest son try an oyster and then gag. My point is Pearl Jam was a bonus. We took our kids to 5 countries over two weeks. If you’re traveling abroad, hopefully you can prioritize the culture, food, architecture, history, sites, etc over seeing Yellow Ledbetter for the 40th time or getting a tuned down half-ass version of some rarely played song that grinds the flow of the show to a halt. I do remember loudly singing Evenflow with my son on my shoulders. That was nice. It’s the only thing about the show itself I actually remember.

That all sounds really fun except the Anne Frank attic
That wasn’t fun. It was surreal tho. I read it in 8th grade and then again before the trip. It completely blew me away. We read almost no non-fiction in school so in a way the attic was as real as Maycomb, Alabama, or Gatsby’s mansion. To step inside and see it in person wishing one of the strangest experiences of my life.
