For the non-casual fan, is this the worst Pearl Jam setlist of all time?
- Only 20 songs, less than 2 hours on stage - 15% of set covers - 85% of set from 1998 or earlier - Only 2 songs from touring album - Nothing remotely considered even a semi-rarity - That encore…

My first show of this tour. I'm not sure what to make of the setlist, stings a little to see I got Shit on there, but not played and replaced by Whipping. But damn, they were good. Really really really good.
Rain was a funny opener, it had been raining A LOT the entire day but stopped in the evening.
Hoping for some more Gigaton in Amsterdam. But really glad I didn't skip this due to "festival".
I was pretty much up front (like 20th row or something) and what struck me was how many people were talking about this being their first Pearl Jam show. So yeah, with these great versions of Jeremy & Alive, that's some new fans locked in.
It was 22 years to the day since Roskilde (see Long Road with the entire festival terrain shining their mobile phones). I was at this same venue 22 years ago waiting for my first Pearl Jam gig that would not happen that weekend. Eddie was constantly looking out if everyone in the crowd was safe. Stopped a couple of times as well to make sure.

yeah, lots of young folks seeing the band for the first time. The crowd was super into it. And the band was just so fucking tight.
