even if / when sports and concerts come back the attendance levels will prob be like 25% to keep social distancing
wouldn't be surprised if their margins can't support that level
Are you telling me I’ll just have to buy my stupid dumbshit goddamn motherfucking Offspring tickets directly from the Emerald Queen Casino box office?
no, you'll buy them from TM after some distressed asset firm acquires them in bankruptcy and then flips them to a private equity firm who revives them

There's no way in hell I'm giving mine up either. Best seats I've ever had to a Pearl Jam show, fan club or otherwise.

since they won't be touring anytime soon, they really should do another monkeywrench type of broadcast for this album

I know a guy who is intimately involved in the concert biz and says there won't be any shows/tours in 2020. That's not Pearl Jam specific.
"Unfortunately there is no way the people I work with are leaving home. Wives. Kids. Not wanting to get people sick, crew or us. We have been “rescheduling”. As of now it’s 2021, if a vaccine is there."

Yeah, Phish has been doing a free webcast every Tuesday night. At least one was a show from a recent year that had never been webcast before.
For their quarterly archive release, they are also about to release the most recent show that has never circulated on tape (bootleg or otherwise) from 1993.

Tedeschi Trucks Band plays a show every Thursday night.

meanwhile Pearl Jam has a giant archive that they never play and will probably go up in flames like that Universal vault

TONS of groups are streaming shows - DMB, Metallica, QotSA did one. Not sure why PJ wouldn't.
