Black w Glen and the string quartet was top notch tonight. I’ve heard that song thousands of times and seen it live probably over 40+ Times and this was by far my favorite ever.
The string quartet element was cool and added something different from last year. I look forward to going again next year.

Fantastic set list but I was disappointed by the crowd. Seemed packed in tight with more meathead bro types, at least around me. More to come later but jamfan14 I totally agree about Black.

He played song of good hope? Wow. One of Glen’s better ones. Hope he remembered the words this time. He flubbed it in Dublin.
** on the meathead bro fans, my reading of it from twitter is that they were the incubus fans. It would have to be. Haven’t seen these complaints about the festival any other time

That was my main concern when I saw that Incubus had the slot before Ed. It would not have been as frustrating at a full band show. Glenn matches perfectly with Ed's solo material. I enjoyed Incubus' 90s hits but a definite shift in gears to go from that to Ed & strings. I love Falling Slowly as much as any one but I was absolutely giddy to get Song of Good Hope. I didn't notice anything wrong. Speaking of which I Am Mine was Ed's big lyric flub of the night.
