I will also say that I find it very endearing that he puts in the effort to communicate with the audience in their native language. He does a pretty good job with Spanish. What was he actually saying in that speech before CDM? |

He's dedicating the song to the brave students in Florida and expressing support for their protest today |

I was actually going to ask about this. He does this all the time and it sounds annoying as hell (since his pronunciation is so stilted) but if the hometown crowd likes it, good on him. |

I don't find it annoying at all anymore, especially after the part in Imagine in Cornice where he works with an interpreter on the pronunciations. |

Yeah I don't see all the fuss, I found it fine. I wonder what it was like in person too. The worst part was seeing Jeff, Stone, and Mike falling asleep behind Ed. I thought they were cardboard cutouts until Jeff moved to help with the backup vocals. At least Ed was trying. |

#metoo @Anders, it would be easy to jab at Eddie here, it’s an open goal, but I can’t. Still doesn’t feel like Chris is actually gone. Forever. Fuck me, what a waste. It’s so sad. |

God I just watched pinkpop 2000 corduroy and this new age version makes me cringe even more. It’s probably my favorite song and it continues to get butchered. Give us back the simple old version man! |
