When Ed talked during the intro to Wasted Reprise, the place got dead silent--like, pin-drop level. I feel like it was because he mentioned ALS and that is a trigger word for people to think, "Oh, this is serious." Also lol at the people who take their hat off when Mike plays the anthem. Weirdest moment for me was when Ed started to cry, I think, when talking about how they are regular guys leading regular lives in Seattle, and then when they show up at a city and all these people show up they freak in amazement |

A few days removed now, while I enjoyed the shows and thought they were good, I really don’t like Fenway as a venue for them. It was cool a couple years ago for the novelty of it, but this set up is not good for a concert and especially the kind of “event” a PJ show is. Give me Mansfield any day, but I fear that Fenway is the Boston outdoor venue going forward. |
