The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

If I remember correctly, everyone who put in the lottery for screening tickets in 2016 basically assumed the band would put on some sort of intimate performance at the House of Blues that night. That's Stone's day off, fools!
I remember that. Rumors abound. Let down jamily.
Didn’t you strat those rumors?
Pretty sure skitch did, right?

I remember when the 2018 Home and Away shows were announced, my friend asked if I was going to the House of Blues show in Boston. I thought he was confused. I guess he has inside information.

It was nice to see pro-shot footage of the first night. I thought maybe we would get a surprise performance from the band when the video signal dropped for a moment. It was quite odd seeing people holding up their lighters and turning on their cellphone flashlights inside House of Blues during specific video playback. I wasn't surprised to see people treating it as if they were at the show again: Shouting out song requests, being hoisted on someone's shoulders, aimlessly pointing at the screen all the way from the back because the band can see you from afar as if you were doing it at the actual show.
Teen Wolf and Tom Selleck have the right idea. It is pretty much a living hell.

It’s such a drawback to liking the band, having to be associated with this.
Eh. I get frustrated with the jamily as much as the next RiMmer, but I don't think I've ever had a ticket buddy at a show that made me feel embarrassed to be there. I've seen behavior that is entitled and obnoxious, but that's anywhere.

There was a time (after the initial mega-stardom and accompanying backlash had run their course) when Pearl Jam was a respectable niche thing. That time seems like a distant memory now.

I would never go to an Eddie solo show again because of how insane and off putting the crowd there was. It was a goddamned psychopath convention.

Fun fact: I was one of BI's ticket buddies.
