Is there an rm meet up for this? Missoula attendees shouldn’t have all the fun. Stickman, Bi_3, bodysnatcher, bammer, others....what do we think?
not 100% sure of my plans yet. MIGHT be meeting up with some local pals before the wednesday show
Daft is cooler than your local friends, trust me
i have no doubt about that whatsoever
i'd prefer it, but they are some of my wife's friends. i hope it works out
Snatch I am curious for your take on a meet up spot?
you're right, the entire area is gonna be swamped. if it were up to me, i'd go somewhere a little further out, like Seapine Brewing. It's about a mile / 20-minute walk to Safeco, but you could Uber/Lyft a little closer if you wanted. I feel like doing that would be a little easier to elbow up to a table.
If you want to stay closer to the stadium, Hooverville will be slammed but if people got there early enough, you might find a table. Pyramid will be PACKED, but I imagine they will be setting up several outdoor beer stations in their parking lots. Everything on the Pioneer Square side will be busy. I'd skip Elysian ... it'll be a shit show. King Street Bar might be alright, it goes a little under the radar. Might be worth going a little further north on 1st Ave and walking in.... Central Saloon, Damn The Weather.
Since these are going to be huge, and on weekday nights around rush hour, I'd highly suggest getting to the bar / around the stadium earlier than you might expect just to avoid anxiety. Because once our city streets clog, you aren't going to be ANYwhere anytime soon. Note to people coming into town: if you're downtown, it'll be quicker to walk to the stadium any time after ~5:00.

I have never heard of Seapine until just now. Looks like a good location off the beaten path, not in the shitshow vicinity, but not too far away.
Long shot, but if anyone has / knows of 2 tix for either show, I'm trying to help a co-worker out. I was able to grab 2 of the extras they released this morning, but got blocked from completing the transaction because I already bought 4 for the same show when they originally went onsale, and it didn't occur to me that it would put me over the limit. She and I are both local (we work about 3 blocks from Safeco) and could meet at anyone's convenience.
wow, good on you. i've never had a co-worker that i would that much out of my way to help out
Well, she's a good person, Seattle native, long-time fan, etc. I feel bad that I was literally one click away from getting her tix and then got shut down.
