I respect the shit out of Ed for attempting to sing songs that require vocal chords that no man should have anymore after years of singing like that...

But its best to not attempt Animal and DTE at the end of the show. Definitely takes its toll.

Yes. And it sounded decent, for once.

Guess I didn't go to bed after all.

Had to stay up late enough to hear Ed slip into YL a PSA about a found wallet.

Honestly, I don't think the encore was bad. I quite enjoyed it, actually. I would have enjoyed "Present Tense" and "Whipping" more, but I think the crowded enjoyed what they got just fine. "Just Breathe" was flat, but, well...what are you going to do? They only played two songs from Backspacer tonight. That's a victory of sorts.

I would complain about the lack of Binaural until I remember it probably sold like 100 copies in South America. I'm sure a festival crowd in Argentina would rather hear "Black" than, say, "Evacuation".

Damn good festival set. Sure Whipping would have gone down a treat but so would have nearly 20 or so others that don't get enough love (thinking Breakerfall, Satan's Bed, Brain of J, Marker etc)
