Love all the positive posts over the past few shows. I haven't got a new in a while but I might have to check out one of these.

One thing I noticed in Berlin and I’d never seen it before.

There were about a thousand or more actual dude bros at the show. Like 100% proof american muscle heads. Loud obnoxious and queuing for posters. I’d never seen that concentration of them before and I’ve seen pj all over the US. perhaps it was I didn’t expect to see that in Europe or especially Berlin but man they made their presence felt in both the merch queue and 10c queue.

A huge bunch of us having the laughs in the never ending wait to get into the venue in the 10c queue just making the best of it while they’re loudly complaining why the Fuck we weren’t bein allowed in. We could clearly all hear the band still soundchecking. Not the sharpest lads these morons.

We took to saying Fuck trump after everything. They didn’t like that. We laughed and bought ice cream. They weren’t gonna do anything about it with security all over the line right beside us.

Never seen that many in one place before. But they seemed more interested in getting as many posters as possible than the show if their conversation was anything to by. Which we couldnt help but overhear. You know what they’re like.

Should I have to explain that? You don’t get how that many flying objects could hurt people In That close a concentration ?

One girl I know personally was on the rail and one hit her square on the nose and she had to taken Out and given stitches. It could have been her eye. Others were hurt in similar ways.

Also there were countless people with little kids on their shoulders at the gig.

Weird thing is ed seemed annoyed people weren’t listening, the. He tried to take part. And failed.

They were flat hard cardboard that was collapsible and they could hold 6 beers.

So they were really big. Anything that size coming at you from a height at speed can hurt you even if it’s cardboard.

Weird was ed waving and pointing out little kids sitting on parents shoulders. Then Taking part when it kicked off. But whatever. That’s post mortem. It was cool in the moment I’m sure he enjoyed the visual too. It was cool.

By all accounts and videos I've seen....

The band are playing great and Ed may have learned a lesson by losing his voice. He sounds super in control the past few shows.

JUst said to strat earlier. The biggest take away from the band right now.
You’ve heard a song like Black a million times. You just go yeah yeah.
Then halfway through them playing it live, you find yourself crying and feeling it every word and note.

They’re probably better now than they ever have been. Can’t wait to see it shaped and crafted and perfected. Give it a year or three. They’re on the way.

This was my second a last show of the tour and probably my favourite show out of the five times I've seen them. The whole show seemed to be running late and be disorganised outside the venue but was great once we were let in the venue. Great amphitheater setting in the woods. My girlfriend and I decided to watch the show from the bleachers given the heat and we wanted a more chill time after she fainted in Krakow. It actually meant we were able to enjoy ourselves more in our own space rather than worrying about the crowd. The crowd did seem to be overly wild in the pit. I think everyone got really drunk in the heat and went wild after waiting so long. The whole show had an awesome festival vibe to it which contributed to the fun times and seem to feed the band. The crowd was enthusiastically wrapped around the band's finger and hanging off every word and note. It did seem to be over too quick due to the noise curfew but it was great nonetheless. Mike was on fire all night. Ed is sounding good. It's a great time be seeing them live.

In the days since the gig my girlfriend has been asking me when I'm taking her to her next PJ show. Seems she has become a big fan since seeing them for the first time in Krakow and Berlin. She has big plans to fully digest their studio catalogue on her own volition now.

Watching Ed over this run of shows was really interesting. He can’t sing the high notes anymore (quite a few voice cracks over the course of the run) but that seems to have made him either re-learn or remember how to sing from his chest. Some of the older songs had some serious vocal power behind them that I haven’t heard in quite a while. It happened in particular after a bad missed note. He seemed to get frustrated and dig in

Do we not post the set as it's happening anymore? Where are you guys seeing it?

Seriously, the only way to get them now is the pictures of the setlist and having to decipher Eddie's handwriting. One of the songs in the encore for this show, I have no idea what it says.
