The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
You guys are assuming a lot about two lottos or global citizen bullshit for this. I think the other shows will be announced in the next few days, and it will be a normal, single lotto for all the shows that leaked.
I think so too. My Billy Joel comment was intended to indicate that they probably have to coordinate around all the other announcements at each venue. Also, I think Seattle deserves some special attention due to the cause and donation.

Agreed on Wrigley not wanting to announce more than one huge name per day, makes perfect sense.
Those Seattle shows are going to be very special and emotional.
I'm hoping they bring some homeless people on stage to help with Last Kiss.

The last time I was in 10C it was still a pre-Sale, is the lottery better?
Far less stressful, far harder to get tickets.

I have heard conversations about restricting initial ticket sales to credit cards that have billing zip codes within X miles of the venue. This has mainly been around the issue of Seahawks playoff tickets.

I'm into it.
That'll never happen. Not all markets get shows. They know how the fan base travels.

Obviously it's a better idea for sports. I'm still into it.

Yes. Fair though.
I feel strongly that someone with a 20+ year fan club number should have better odds. Like an extra "entry" for every 5 years in the club or something.

Agreed. The problem is the casual fans who go ahead and enter like "eh, I'll go if I "win" the lottery" but couldn't care less if they don't go. In the F5 world, it was stressful, but getting tickets required some persistence.
This debate has happened so many times since the change. It's nothing new. It is what it is.
