It's not surprising, Edbots are all over Pearl Jam fandom. Wherever you go there are people that worship the ground he walks on. It's been around forever,

Im not a second account. I do enjoy when I can disagree with people, but they are my real opinions, but I do find it fun when I know I think something controversial and can argue it.
I do hate iholdthepain though. Not because he agrees with me, but because he just says he does, and actually doesn't. I love when stip and me agree though.
Im not an Edbot. Unless you're talking pre 2008 or so in which case yes he was amazing. But like I said I like what he does on the guitar. On vocals, recently, not so much, I have complained about him a lot. AND HIS DUMB IMPROVS

Wow its Eddie who plays the cool parts of WWS?
Not sure what cool parts you're thinking of but probably not. Besides the ebow at the beginning he's only playing two chords the rest of the song. At the ends hes just strumming an A chord which is barely audible. Stone is handling the chorus while Mike is doing the outro.
All of your other examples (Corduroy, Sometimes, Betterman, Elderly Woman, Around the Bend, Light Years, WWS) are songs that Eddie wrote though. Both Stone and Eddie's playing style and ability are much different from one another. It's fair to prefer one's over another as much as it's fair to judge one's guitar ability over another, but Eddie's songs certainly don't test his or Stone's playing ability. Their isn't much of a fair comparison either as I don't think Ed plays guitar on any song he didn't write the music for. You're judging Stone against songs he didn't write. I'm not disagreeing with you, I just think you just prefer Eddie's songs over the rest of the PJ catalog
Best Pearl Jam show I've seen live was in 2006. So I agree they could still go then. Not really been disappointed in the 2010s either, apart from the albums. But no doubt Ed's voice is not quite the same.
