I can't believe people buy these kinds of releases on vinyl, that still seems bizarre to me.

I wish they'd make them digital only, perhaps then we'd get more than one per year.

Vinyl is the least attractive bootleg format. Too bad the fanbase fetishizes vinyl. $$$.

I mean bootleg recordings never sound that great on vinyl, but that's because the people that make boots often don't have the masters to work from. So they're never going to sound amazing.

wonder why?

Flipping a record or changing discs after just a few songs seems horrible. It must take you out of the flow.

i think it's funny they are using the "sponsored by no one" image on the back of the Vault packaging for this show. sure, it's a snapshot of history, but still funny given how this band is now "sponsored by everyone".

I don't mean the quality of vinyl. I mean the inconvenience.

I really thought we'd get Red Rocks, but I'll take this one.

:D

On a side note, I'm not going to beat around the bush here but does anyone have the vault shows in flac? It's bogus there is no download included with all of these.

Remember the (fake) story about the band turning down the Viagra sponsorship that featured a penis dancing to Alive.

Shipping to get this out here is almost as much as the vinyl, and yet I'm still tempted

So releasing something that is already out there, is it laziness or does the band but want us to have something "new" for some reason?

What is "out there" sounds like complete shit. It's a crappy mono soundboard feed matrixed with a phasey, medicore audience recording.

They would have to try really hard to provide something worse than what we already have.
