General Pearl Jam discussion.

I've been fortunate enough to get Better Man at 3/4 shows and I just LOVE it live. I would be bummed to ever not get it. I think it's probably their very best live song at this point in their career. To me, its been a massive highlight of every show Ive seen it at.
Elderly Woman too. Just really good live ones.
I didn't get Jeremy at any of the 2013 shows, but both the 2016 shows, and that one was very fun live.

The only disappoint for me would be having to endure any PRAMG songs.

I like getting Porch and RVM, both beasts live. Always want "Go", but I don't think that counts as a staple.

Literally, every show I've been to, I've been more excited about the one-off or rare song than I have by any "staples." There is not a staple that I care about.

i think i've gotten Yellow Ledbetter at like 95% of my shows. at this point, it's just an excuse to get to the train or my car before the crowds hit.

Black.
An ideal show has two encores, the band and the crowd on fire, a rarity and a few not rare but slightly deep cuts, at least one early 90s era song that Mike really shreds on, a singalong, yl/ritfw, you know, the whole Pearl Jam thing.

I love hearing Black live. Hearing the crowd sing at the end, seeing the band appreciating it.

"Black" is such a dragggggg

Well you can say any song you're disappointed not to get live, but the rarer songs I feel like you're less likely to expect since they're rarer, so it seems more like you'd be excited to hear it, rather than disappointed if they didn't.

RVM

Black and Daughter are probably the only two staples that I want to see at every show.
Tue June 27, 2017 8:54 pm
Oh and DtE. Love that live.

i've always had a soft spot for jeremy.

I'd say Corduroy, but I hate the way they do it now.
Wed June 28, 2017 1:55 am
I haven't seen them since the S/T tour and that's primarily because I have grown to dislike the crowd participation aspects of their shows.
So pretty much all the staples can go.

I always want Release to open.
Wed June 28, 2017 2:52 am
Corduroy would've been my answer before they started doing that pointless call and response bridge.
