Ok, so I had started this thought back in the fall of 2016 with plans to make a mix from 2011-2016. I had this idea to put all of Ed's Solo performances, etc. throughout each disc with band tracks throughout.
Ultimately, it just never came to be, life has a way of throwing curveballs that you sometimes just can’t hit. It was a few hard years and honestly, with streaming the way it is today and other people making really awesome mixes, I scrapped it.
Plus, the recordings each year started to sound very different varying each year. It made trying to make something together very hard. But I did try; and I completed 4 discs. At the time, I decided that this was a disaster. With Disc 3 being extremely personal to me, I just put it away for years.
I popped it in a few weeks ago, and when the new album and a tour was around the corner before COIVD-19; I figured maybe a pearl jam fan or two would like it. I finally found some happiness in it, I hope you do too.
