The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Not sure what you're asking, but this is on Spotify.
It's funny reading all the reviews . We mostly seem to be hearing the same changes, yet we are hating/appreciating the changes differently. I guess it all comes down to personal taste, and it's just such a shame that they weren't able -- AGAIN -- to deliver an album that had a sound that didn't turn people off. FFS it's a classic rock album, how hard is it to mix it so that it doesn't sound like crap?
I agree with every word here completely. The last line is perfect.

The vinyl remixes, or the remix that was already on spotify?
This has been confusing. Nonetheless, I haven't heard these Avocado remasters, just the "brickwall hater" one. How does that stack up vs. the new ones?
What about RA and Binaural? Are they sounding pretty good?

I'd say forget the brickwallhater version even exists, and make your choice between the new Spotify remaster or the new BOB remix.
Man. I hate that the HDTracks version is the bad one instead of the Spotify one.
Also on Binaural several tracks have "Album Version" on it but then there are also tracks that don't say that. I wonder if they are new mixes?
I’ve seen those before on HD lists. Wasn’t it only Light Years and Nothing as it Seems (the ones released to radio) that didn’t have the clarification. I don’t know if that helps at all, but it’s a guess.
Was sort of busy and interrupted a lot, so need to listen again. First impression is that Army Reserve is ruined in this mix. Come Back was interesting.

Is everyone listening to this on Spotify, or have some of you got the physical vinyls?
I'm not convinced that they actually made any physical copies. Striking out everywhere on picking this up.
Someone on the Pit swears these are all manufactured in France, which is why it's taking so long to restock US retailers. If you really need them now, Best Buy's website has them in stock.

Just took a cursory listen to the new masters for Riot Act and Binaural, and everything sounds too bright, like they gave a uniform bump around 10k~15k. Makes everything sound glassy. WTF guys.
