the fixer mix is a but less twinkly. The heart of matt’s demo is clearer.

Johnny Guitar is a bit more muscular without losing its playfulness.

The Amongst the Waves verses have a lot more texture

are we sure this spotify avocado is just a remaster and not a remix? it sounds so much better. matt's ghost notes at the end of army reserve are juicy as :nice:

The Spotify Avocado sounds close the BrickwallHater remaster that was released 1 or 2 years ago (fan remaster from the retail album).
Apart from the improved overall sound, I did not pick any mixing difference, like the ones brought by BO'B for Ten Redux or the Temple of the Dog re-release last year: instruments level are the same, there is no additional background vocals or piano, etc. The Spotify version brought clarity and more room for all instruments, but it appears to be totally BO'B-free. :thumbsup:

I've asked a few times, and never got a definitive answer but sounds to me like they usually don't offer digital downloads w/ vinyl so it's probably no.

I just have a simple one from Audio Techinica and a small amp. Does the trick. Does the trick with some good speakers.
