A dude shopping at one of the stores I hit up in Greenpoint the day after RSD was wearing a Temple of the Dog tour shirt. He didn't buy anything. I didn't talk to him, but I'm pretty sure he was after the Pearl Jam Easy Street record. Which the store did not have.
I have spoken to people at concerts I do not know for the simple reason that they were wearing a Pearl Jam shirt. He was lucky because I would have stopped him and demanded a conversation about the show and then to lament that we’ll never get another chance to see that again.

Vedder was heavily inspired by the early Britney Spears sound, stating that: "I'm a big fan of Britney Spears, and I listen to this record [Baby One More Time] every night before I go on stage!"[
Strange, most music people prefer Aguilera in the battle of 2000's divas.

honestly, the only PJ i've listened to in about 6 months has been when i randomly hear a song on the radio
same. every so often a pj song will come up on spotify after an album has run its course. but other than that, i probably haven't listened to pj voluntarily in over a year.

I listened to Ten and Vs. recently. Today I listened to Nevermind. This week I listened to Alice in Chains Unplugged. Apparently reliving my teenage years lately.

The first time I heard DTE was through a tape trade I made to get the Oakland '97 shows, and I had never had that hugely positive of a reaction to a PJ song before or since
