I know we’ve covered this but I can’t find it at the moment.

I’m at $10k easy. Maybe even double that if you wrap in all the related travel costs, pre-show beers and such...

does that include the drums?

Yes.

Framing posters, annual membership dues ...

Did he just teabag a tom tom?

Since all of my concerts were close by, I'm not factoring in gas or travel.

I only went to 5 concerts, and just bought the albums once (studio, live on two legs, lost dogs) and one yield t-shirt.

I estimated I spent about $650 in the 27 years of fandom.

I could get quite excited for a Lost Dogs 2 now.

That would require the band to actually do something. But yes, it would be exciting.

Is there enough stuff for a Lost Dogs 2? From what I have heard, no.

Cold Confession and Let It Ride supposedly came from a disc with more songs, so I'd say probably yeah.

Easily. I’ve made one myself from a mix of songs that have not been on albums or Lost Dogs. I’m sure Pearl Jam has plenty.

At this point it’s more like Dead Dogs

I spend more time wondering when the band will close their doors. I rather they ride off into the sunset instead of putting out a possible subpar album to add to their body of work.

I think they are still capable, but they should do it, or at the least say they’re done making studio albums and continue to tour since they still seem to have a great live show.

The only way I'd be interested in PJ again is if, when playing live, they stop trying to 'rock' so hard. Slow everything wayyy down... If you have to play Even Flow, slow it wayyyy down... And they should take inspiration from a band like The National and do something like that with their next album, if they release one at all... Change it up, experiment, examine yourselves honestly (Ed) and realize your actual skill set and work with that.

I agree with that, except to say I am not in the “I will only be interested in Pearl Jam if...” category. I am still interested in Pearl Jam.

Yeah, I guess I misspoke. I am interested to see what they do, but I doubt they will hold my interest long if they don't produce something interesting/listenable.

When will Eddie let himself go grey? I'm thinking in 4-5 years.
