yes.
its crossing the line being in the clubhouse. just go to Stanleys and save a spot for the guys when they are done celebrating in the clubhouse so you can karaoke Springsteen together.

Eddie was clearly the glory mascot in all of this. The good luck charm, the problem child, the white indian, the giant midget. Imagine you played baseball for the pros in the 7O's and loved the Stones and Keith Richards kept hanging out with you in the locker room, at batting practice, feeding you the cocaine, you would be inspired. Now it is 2O16 Ed Ved is super baked and drunk on stadium beer, the Cub whisperer he be. It took 108 years, and there was Ed Ved behind home plate spraying off his magic crystals of love.

Seriously game 7 was the best baseball game in modern times. It was awesome to see Vedder there rooting for his team. Glad the Cubs won, they have a ton of heart.

Great win for the Cubs. Have never watched much Baseball, but saw part of this game, and it was very exciting.

This was nice:

I get the making fun. But I'm happy for the guy. And I think it's really fucking cool.

Sports fandom can easily make people appear childish: the way we argue and call each other names when comparing teams; or how you can't believe the umpire made that call, it's so fucking unfair. But moments like this are more child-like than child-ish; it may look stupid and silly from the outside, but from the inside nothing's more natural than high-fiving and diving on the floor and acting like a kid again, where nothing else in the world matters. It's important to not get the two mixed up, I think.

Oh cool - the Cubs won. I hoped they would pull it off.

And that's well said, ST. Sports fandom is the best, and its pure, and its basic. And it's fucking awesome when your team wins.

2016 has been a very big year for sports teams breaking droughts.
