General Pearl Jam discussion.

it is astounding the amount and variety of apparel this band has churned out over the years
and 99% of it is unwearable
there must be homeless people walking around in donated PJ clothes at this point
all waiting in line for food stamps wearing black anaLog Tshirts

There's never been a black AnalLog shirt. Kill that hobo. Steal his rare shirt. Sell on eBay.

Hey, I have a red AND a white AnalLog shirt.
Tue January 02, 2018 2:16 am
better than white
Tue January 02, 2018 2:25 am
No, I mean I have a red shirt and a white shirt. Both prominently declaring my AnalLog status.

I think he meant the analog membership shirt. Last year's was black, right? That Deep shirt?

they are all black in my mind
Tue January 02, 2018 2:41 am
do they have a black t-shirt about the song 'Black' ? now that would be onto something

Honest question: If not a t-shirt, what would you want the item to be?
I liked the luggage tags idea a few years back. I took that over the red shirt.
My top 3 ideas:
Fidget spinner
Shoelaces
Boom n00ds

I liked those camp style coffee mugs they had

I am fine with the t-shirt, but here is what would push me past just "fine."
- shirt, or better yet, a voucher for one $25 shirt on their website, so I can pick one that I want.
- patch, i liked those when they were doing them.
- a few stickers, whatever they have laying around that is unsold.
- a bootleg code that also works as a $10 coupon on CD bootlegs
I suppose that might eat into their "profit," but it won't eliminate it, and I'm still of the mind that Pearl Jam should take hit on the Ten Club and call it a marketing expense.

I have a black "I'm Analog" t-shirt. It's the single worst piece of music-related merch I own. I've never worn it outside of the house. I don't think it even says Pearl Jam anywhere on it. It's ugly. It's uncomfortable. Just a failure on every level.

That deep magazine is stupid.
It's not fun. It's not cute.
There's nothing to read.
It's best chance at usefulness would be a shim
Actually that should be it's name instead of Deep....."Shim"....truth in advertising

If the production of the Deep magazine is a significant weight on the timeline of prepping the annual holiday single, just get rid of the dumb thing.
Actually, would prefer to get rid of it altogether. It's so pointless. And for a band that's all about conservation, and planting trees, and carbon footprints, seems like they'd just release this as a PDF.

I want a list of the movies, books, and albums that the band is currently watching, reading, and listening to.
How hard could that possibly be?

yes, it seems like a wasted opportunity.
