Yeah I don't get why this is even a discussion. It was a one-off band as a tribute to a friend. What's the point? The random moments at PJ shows are enough.

What's the point? ... $$$$$

But no seriously folks! ... A small tour would be cool as a commemorative endeavor but I don't see the purpose of much else.

Exactly. VinylGuy gets it, I don't know why others don't.

I have a feeling those who say now they dont want a show or a small tour would lose their minds if it happens.

OMG I NEED TO GO!!

Yeah, play the entire record and then some PJ and Soungarden songs and then some Mother Love Bone songs and then a cover or two or maybe one or two new songs for the occasion. Do 10 shows total. Call it and move on forever.

This already sounds like way too much propping up of a corpse that doesn't need to be propped up. They had a great opportunity to nail this at PJ20 and they didn't, so fuck it.

It's over.

Let it go, guys.

I'm 100% fine with TotD being done. It's a novelty at this point. I'm just saying if they're gonna do it, 25th anniversary is a good time to do it. And I hope they keep it small and simple if they do anything at all.

But if I can't be bothered to even listen to the one album they recorded, I certainly don't care one way or another if they tour or record another record.

We understand each other perfectly on this matter.

I don't see anything happening and I'm happy with that. Some things don't need to be revisited. But if they did then 1 show at the Moore, album played head to toe then Cornell acoustic for 3-4 tracks, Ed and the PJs play Chloe and out.

I forgot that they'd probably force out RITFW.

Has there ever been any jamming or guest appearances with Bruce Fairweather or Greg? Gilmore?

I'm fond of Hunger Strike too but otherwise I think the album is just not that good.

I'm in the opposite boat. I love that whole album and honestly Hunger Strike is the song I skip sometimes. I really wish they would play something other than Hunger Strike when they choose to spin TOTD on the radio, but whatever.

At least they chose something else to play in Wayne's World, which was great.

Hunger Strike only suffers cuz we've all heard it 12,000 times. But if you can put on your fresh listening ears, that song is unabashedly awesome. Especially when Ed comes in - it's so fucking dramatic, like the end of Rocky 2 or some shit. If you're not fist-pumping to stealing bread, then I don't know what to tell you.
