i didn't know 'bayleaf' was recorded by the band. wouldn't mind hearing that. i've always held faint hope that they'd maybe play that one at a show. it was cool that it popped up a couple times during the brad tour a few years back.

Parting Ways started taking shape in '96. It was soundchecked on the Euro '96 tour. It was definitely a work in progress at that point with Ed mumbling a lot of "words". But the structure is pretty close to the end product.
