The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

And I dunno if anyone has checked yet, but I half wonder if someone at 10C just took the mp3s and unconverted them to FLAC.
I actually checked this out, they're definitely legit 16 bit FLACs.
Unfortunately I'm too old to give a shit about this anymore. I'm glad they did it, even if they don't know they did, but I am only very slightly tempted to try and upgrade. probably never will get to it...

Yeah. I was always quite passionate about my lossless PJ archive and had it pretty complete up to about 18 months ago. Now though I'm finding it hard to give too much of a shit.
Which is a pretty crappy attitude, I admit - those 2005 shows were pretty damn good and the fact they even exist in sbd quality is one of the many reasons that I fell in love with this band in the first place.
At one point I had everything up to 2009. I ended up selling most of it, and keeping about a dozen from 2000 (mostly 1st US leg), and a dozen from 2003. All of the 2008 and 2009 boots were mercifully deleted from my collection.
I will be grabbing a few of the 2005 shows, because they are really good shows. The Philly show is insane.
I have every released show from 2000 to 2006 on my hard drive but I don't feel the same need to catalogue the recent tours. I still give most of them a listen but I keep the best ones and trash the rest.
I have about 30 shows from 2000, about 25 from 2003, more of the 2009-10 CDs than would be wise to admit around here, and a few scattered ones from 2011-now. I enjoy having the collection and certainly go through periods of listening extensively to it, but I'm about at critical mass. I will probably buy 3-4 of the 2005 CDs eventually.

I was basically complete between physical and digital copies from 2000-2006 and I have a ton of stuff from prior to 2000. I listened to most of it at least once, but my live collection was the first real casualty of the onset of children and the end of grad school.

Look out for a special offer from Nugs.net for a free 90-day trial (when you sign up or renew) to listen to the biggest collection of official Pearl Jam concert releases anywhere. In addition to hundreds of high quality recordings from Pearl Jam dating back to 1993, Nugs.net also offers thousands of shows from other artists.
This is great!
"Look out for a special offer ..." - We don't have it. But look out! It might come out some day. Maybe e-mail. Maybe you should visit nugs every day. Maybe they'll call you.
"... recordings from Pearl Jam dating back to 1993 ..." - Quite a claim considering that they have 4 shows prior to 2000.
$12.99 a month. Spotify is $9.99.
