My love for this one has dimmed over time, but that initial run of songs (Life Wasted -> Comatose) remains a catalog highlight for me.

I'd go with 4-7 as the best stretch of the album - Severed, Marker, Parachutes, Unemployable. :nice:

Cold Confession and Let it Ride are Avocado outtakes, correct? Both very good tracks from that time period.

True. It's a shame the rest of the album is so hit or miss.

the first half is way better than the second half. severed hand is an all time all timer for me, i still remember the first time i heard it and that "holy fucking shit" feeling. this might be my second first pearl jam record in the last 20 years.
