The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Was not expecting to see an interview with Jeff on HBO’s Real Sports if all places. It was about his skateboard parks.
That was great. Our boy's a R&R Hall of Famer and honorary member of Blackfeet Nation. What a life. I liked his answer to the question of whether or not there are better ways to spend $500k on reservations than on skate parks.

Can you elaborate on this?
I'm butchering/paraphrasing it, but basically that he believes, based on his own personal experience growing up in the middle of nowhere, that giving young people something to live for and be proud of like skating will ultimately save lives. (There had been a lot of talk about the high rate of suicide on reservations earlier in the segment.)

Jeff has a great taste. I really liked that Gord Downie album which he listed in his desert island albums list. I had not heard about him before. And that Idles album is excellent as was already said, and I'm currently listening the Dry Cleaning album and really like it.
