What songs on No Code would you like to have heard recorded for other albums? What should have been on No Code?

I would like to hear how Present Tense would have sounded on Riot Act. I think parachutes would have sounded pretty nice on No Code.

No Code is pretty much perfect as it is.

I'd substitute out Parting Ways in lieu of Around the Bend. I like both as album closers but Parting Ways I think would tie in nicely with the theme of off he goes whereas Around the Bend is more akin to a soft lullaby that softly closes the album out.

I'd substitute Fatal for Off He Goes.

I'm Open should have been on Lost Dogs. All Night should have been on No Code.

Parting Ways would be really cool to hear on No Code. Would love to hear the Jack treatment on it.

Or, put Black Red Yellow (Lost Dogs version) on No Code in place of I'm Open.

I'm Open is really the only song I skip on NC. I doubt I ever start liking it at this point, but it's not enough to weigh the entire album down. No Code is Pearl Jam's best work.

I prefer I'm Still Here over I'm Open, in regards to those two weird tracks.

I've come around on Mankind a bit in recent years, but I really wanted All Night on there instead of Mankind.

It would change the feel of the song but it would be interesting to hear sometimes on Binaural

Although I really love Jack on Hail Hail, hearing it on Binaural with Matt would be interesting.

Matt doesn't do jangle very good.

I won't trade any song from this album. Its perfect.

PJ should approach their albums like this one in terms of sound. Imagine LB with this production....

I would have liked to hear Inside Job on No Code. I think the softer, subtler treatment a lot of these songs get would have really helped it out.

I'm pretty sure god's dice is at the absolute bottom of my fast studio song list
