Thanks to everyone who was involved in making this project. You can tell there was a lot of thought and care put into this. It's a shame that Pearl Jam didn't put this much effort into the reissues of Ten and Vs. / Vitalogy. You guys came up with 2 discs of material for 1990-1992 and PJ just added a few bonus tracks to the end of Ten. Great job guys!

Now that this bit of awesomeness is out there, how does one go about getting it? I'm looking at a long road trip in a few days and this would be great for it. Anyone feeling particularly kind and want to help someone out through pm? Please.

Long-time lurker and first time poster, which I know looks shabby, but I'd love to get a link to this if possible. Thanks.

Thanks guys :)

Let's not turn this thread into pages of requests though. PM me for more info.

A couple of people have asked for the original mp3 file for '1-16 Once (Live at The Palladium 1991-10-06)'. This mp3 had to be converted to WAV for remastering as it was so poorly mixed/mastered - it's actually PAINFUL to listen to. But if you don't mind your ears being raped, here it is

This is a minor nomenclature quibble but I think the 'original' mix of State... would arguably be Rick Parasher's which was featured in Singles (ie. in the actual film) and eventually officially released on the Rearviewmirror compilation.

The band had Brendan remix it for the release of the Singles soundtrack (but kept Parasher's mix of Breath).

Granted, Brendan's was released first though (and was the only officially available version for many years).

Stop making sense, Spence!

You make a good argument mate, but I went with this logic:

Isn't the Vitalogy version of Hard to Imagine the alternate version? That is to say, the Lost Dogs version is from the Vs sessions and is therefore the original, and the Vitalogy one (included on Chicago Cab) is alternate?

No. The "original" version is the first released version, not the first recorded version.

I guess I could call it 'State Of Love And Trust (Brendan O'Brien Mix) or (Alternate Mix)', but then I'd have to redo the artwork/filenames/checksums/tags etc and there'll be an alternate version of the disc floating around, so I think I'm going to leave it.

I like your eye for detail though, feel free to pick up on anything else you see that might be a bit off :)

No worries!

It just came to mind while playing the collection today (great job, by the way).

Why didn't they release this show? It would be so, so easy...

Discs 3 and 4 are now ready :)

These discs feature some great work from JWB, including a fresh rip from a recently opened copy of the 'Animal (Live at MTV VMAs)' cassette, and a masterful patching of the word c&@% in 'Ramblings (Live in Indio)' via the 7" test pressing version.

The Red Rocks tracks on the 2010 Holiday single were deemed to be too poorly pressed/mastered for inclusion, so they are instead sourced from the official MP3s (which will be made available in untouched MP3 format also).

Again, if anyone notices any errors/typos/bugs in the artwork/tags, please let me know
