Cropduster. It's got more interesting moments, and a more exciting conclusion. At the time it was also one of Eddie's more limber vocal melodies--a sign of what was to come (I think eddie's gotten much better at that as his voice has lost some of his power and he can't just plow his ways through songs on the strength of his vedderness). ATY is a good song, but the slacker vibe of the song never quite comes together with the musical climax for me.

I think if I had to give up all of Riot Act just to eliminate Cropduster from existence, I'd be alright with that. I'd lose some good songs, but it'd take a lot of stuff I hate with it.

These two are about even in my estimation. Two really fantastic songs that tend to be under appreciated (maybe not around these parts). I love them both so much. This is easily the hardest decision I've had to make in this tournament so far. Even more difficult than E. Flow v Black. Because these songs are so perfectly, evenly matched. You can't lose with either of them. Both deserve to advance.
Voting for one of them over the other sucks. But I had to give it to Cropduster. Just something about that song... But who knows, I could easily change my vote later today or tomorrow.

THEY'RE BOTH SO FUCKING GOOD
Cropduster probably wins the most improved song award for me. I flat out hated it. spenno raved about it a lot, especially if done right live, then make a live mix with a really good version of Cropduster. This flipped me, and since, the song has been making it's way up in my rankings.
The hardest match for me so far may have been Tremor Christ vs. I Got Shit.

I'm glad you're coming around on Cropduster.
If you have it, the live version spenno recommended via his mix was from Hamilton Canada 2005.
