The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Agreed. At least it'll fall to a very worthy competitor.
Word. It's just a shame that some songs in other matches this round that don't deserve it will advance and this one will fall. But such is the nature of MARCH MADNESS!!!!!!!
But, yeah, Parachutes is glorious. It's not a difficult call, just unfortunate.

Let It Ride is overrated and still a half-baked song. Parachutes is a marvelously fully-realized moment when PJ rarely channels the stranger side of the Beatles.

I listened to both of these tonight. I'm more strongly in the Let it Ride camp. That coda is one of the better vocals/lyrics Ed has ever put together, and very effective.

I don't get parachutes. It's an OK song, but it really suffers from the horrible Avocado production. As far as PJ lullabies go it's got nothing on ATY or around the bend.
Ed sounds pretty bad on the studio version too, but he sounds bad on most of Avocado.
