The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
After the publication of the box "Pearl Jam Twenty: Three Disc Deluxe Edition" and other precendeti advances, finally arriving official news about the next album of Pearl Jam's new album will be released in 2013 and appear to be ready 6 of the 14 tracks that will compose the tracklist.
It was Eddie Vedder to tell something about the new album, the successor of "Backspacer" speaking on a radio Brazilian
It was a difficult drive and sometimes the hardest things are the most valuable. In a nutshell, is the best thing we've ever done, but it comes from some of the worst moments that we spent. It has a sound aggressive in a sense is the result of what it means to be an American today. Becomes very aggressive especially if you play at high volume.
Vedder then stated
It is not completely finished. I hope to complete the last songs when I'm in South America. I carry you need to record and everything else, so if I can go back and finish the last pieces in January, we should publish it in April or so. In the meantime, do not reveal new songs live, we want to be heard for the first time when they come out.

Yeah, that's weird. Also, the 'play at max volume' thing is beyond familiar. I know these guys tend to repeat themselves a lot. But I think this is an old description.

Not sure why this passage wasn't mashed in the article:
"While a lot of the album is "as heavy and bone-crunching as our earlier material", Gossard is most proud of the melodic songs such as "Dawn" - written over 4 months by co-guitarist Mike McCready - and the Who-like "Alarms Of Nautical", by Gossard himself.
"We are always expected to have a heavy tilt in our songs, and we have done that here and love doing that. But this album feels more than a bunch of rock songs like our last couple... and not to demean those... but this was a massive ride for us, a big jump, and we hope it can be heard".
The first song, "To Our Home", is a quiet song by lead singer Eddie Vedder, unmistakeably about his new baby girl. "Yeah we let Ed indulge on that one a bit there, but it is a fantastic, pretty track to start off. After that we blow the amps (laughs)". "
I don't wanna clutter the board with a new thread, and we've already got a 10th album thread, so sorry if this is hijacking or whatever, but do you guys think we'll get another Legacy Box Set? Perhaps a No Code/Yield combo set like the Vs/Vitalogy set?
Is that even something you'd buy? I would. I'd be super pumped to see it.
